Backgrounds for text and cursor colours.

I cannot read the text sometimes. Certain backgrounds on the text box are just completely impossible to read. I posted a picture of an example, I caught an astral jelly, it came up in blue, It's completely illegible.
I'm not colour blind, but for people who are, this would be impossible to read.

Another issue is that you cannot change the colour of the cursor. Which again, for colourblind people, is an issue. Or for myself, when trying to aim a ranged weapon, the crosshair cursor is extremely hard to see with most in game backgrounds. It's at the point where I'd like to change the cursor entirely, or use the hardware cursor. Because the crosshair is very faint and hard to see.
