Easier Way (NPC) to Get Earie (and Pet) Eggs

One of my friends is currently trying to get an Earie pet with good stats and in a color she likes, but unfortunately has not had much luck. Upon further research, we realized that Earie eggs in particular are just a very rare drop from mostly chests, and even then it is quite difficult to consistently obtain these eggs.

Would you consider making a pet Merchant NPC that unlocks these pet eggs more easily, or perhaps for this Easter, release something that allows us more easy access to the pet eggs? I would really appreciate it and it would remove a lot of frustration from obtaining something that I do not think should be so rare. Thank you!!
