Summons hurt currently
Their mana cost is too high when we not only have armors that ask us to flood the field (which takes a while cause of the high cost and slow Regen) and then blow them up.
Their damage is lackluster. Sure, I can have 10 of them, but that takes a while to do when I can use any other weapon and quadruple the output of the summons without much more set up than eating some food

My suggestions are
1. Significantly lower the mana cost and the speed of summoning. 20 mana at the absolute ceiling no matter the book used, lowering when the book is leveled (since for some reason it gets more expensive???)
2. Damage of summons be boosted by Magic Damage without skills and armor, with skills and armor further increasing the bonus
3. More aggressive/faster summons. Even with attack speed fast enemies make them useless

With this, it would also be nice if summons were more transient, to thus make it a more active class
