From my perspective / understanding (pertaining to my experience within one or two of the console port(s)), the greatest weakness this game suffers from is “replayability” and or “player retention”—the reason being not the type or amount of content, but the restrictions held over the player in an effort to maintain “fairplay” / “integrity” (prevent cheating, of any kind).
Games within your genre have seemed to find success through efforts to “enable” their target audience’s “transformative” interests: they love what you’ve made… now they want to take it and make something new.
Players want to make “adventure maps” and “custom dungeons” and “race tracks” and “pvp arenas” and anything else that excites them regarding the “world” and the “mechanics” you’ve put into place.
However, unfortunately, at this point in time (unless one wishes to mod the base game or cheat—which, neither, is really viable on console), “Creative Mode” is little but a “prop” / an “afterthought” to most players.
