Consider giving physical only Melee and Ranged perks universal Melee/Ranged damage.

"Taking a Step Back". I wanted to use it for my battlemage build until I realized it only affect physical ranged damage. Same goes for "Keeping Momentum", "Focused Accuracy", "Miner's Strength", many many other perks.

The perks that provide ranged damage are unusable with magic ranged weapons and the perks that provide melee are unusable with magic melee weapons such as the Zealot's Scimitar. This not only severely inhibits the functionality of those weapons, but it also severely limits the buildcrafting potential. Suddenly despite having 100 in ranged combat I literally have no perks to invest into as a melee+ranged battlemage because it all affects physical damage only.

I understand that we have the magic skill tree for this, but there are some ranged skills that do work on magic ranged weapons, just not the damage ones, and it creates strong dissonance because I'm encouraged to train all my skills, but sometimes I don't have enough perks to spend points on after I'm done.
