Buff explosives, specifically grenades and new mortar type (including the legendary)
The new mortar type (ruin, stone, volcano) is fun but there are a few things wrong with it:
Damage is extremely poor at all levels, and every tier of this new type has the exact same base stats for both mining, explosive, and ranged damage. Even the legendary!
With every explosive damage+ gear piece (no breakers reach food), you end up doing around 3-
400 damage at 1.7 spd base which ends up being like maybe 1200 ish damage a second. That's awful, when stuff like even the flintlock musket can get to critting (something exclusive can't do) consistently for 4-9k+ damage every second. I think this style of mortar needs to go up in damage like 100 flat at least, and each tier needs it's flat damage to go up also. Legendary secondary is too slow to be useful or is too low damage. Range is abysmal but workable, it would be nice if higher tiers allow further ranges
Grenades are too slow. The damage is fine but once again other damage types are more competitive and can outclass this too.
