Passage Spawn is ridiculous
I'm trying build stationary drills around the pandemonium ores and monsters attack me every 5 seconds or worse bomb everything that I just put down, Even when I attack between every item i put down it destroys everything and I have to start all over again and it never ends. I read somewhere that the mob spawns have 15~20 min intervals but it's endless. How am I meant to mine this ore without mods!? PLEASE do something about this.

The spawn rate in the Passage needs to be reduced by 50% or more. I can barely get a few blocks before being attack again. Exploring is very difficult. (I'm not a newbie)
Forget building anything like railroads or small safe heavens to recuperate. It gets destroyed. (except the walls/floors). I can't tell like the other mobs if there a particular item(s) that spawns the mobs. I would hate to replace the whole passage. My solution I'm testing at the moment for my tracks, is to clear the flooring/walls 15 blocks up and down and see if that helps.
